How Come?

I have A Question for you:

"Loving people live in a loving world.
Hostile people live in a hostile world.
Same world.
How come?"

Dr. Wayne Dyer

Here is the answer:

"Life has a bright side and a dark side,
For the world of relativity is composed of light and shadows.

If you permit your thoughts to dwell on evil,
You yourself will become ugly.

Look only for the good in everything,
That you absorb the quality of beauty."
Paramahansa Yogananda

"Loving people live in a loving world.
Hostile people live in a hostile world.
Everyone you meet is your mirror."
Ken Keyes JR
Handbook to Higher Consciousness

"Acknowledge the good wherever you see it.
For what you acknowledge you get . . .
and you bring it into existence more."

Barry Long

"We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts we make the world.

Speak or act with a 'pure' mind
And happiness will follow you
As your shadow,
The Dhammapada

To Summarise:

"When you acknowledge love in your life you bring love more into existence.

When you feel aggressive and hostile you are acknowledging aggression and hostility . . .

You therefore bring that aggression and hostility into existence with you.

You are what you think you are. You are also what you feel you are.

All that you are arises with your thoughts and emotions.

The world you live in, be it hostile or loving, is simply a reflection of what you are thinking and feeling. The people you encounter in your life, and the circumstances you experience in your life, are simply a mirror of what you think and feel about life.

Only when you speak or act with a
'pure' mind , which is a peaceful and tranquil mind that acknowledges the good wherever it sees it, will you experience a loving world."

To finish off I would just like to share this little story with you . . .

Long ago in a small, far away village, there was a place known as
the House of 1000 Mirrors. A small, happy little dog learned of
this place and decided to visit. When he arrived, he bounced
happily up the stairs to the doorway of the house.

He looked through the doorway with his ears lifted high and his
tail wagging as fast as it could. To his great surprise, he found
himself staring at 1000 other happy little dogs with their tails
wagging just as fast as his.

He smiled a great smile, and was answered with 1000 great smiles
just as warm and friendly. As he left the house, he thought to
himself, "This is a wonderful place. I will come back and visit it

In this same village, another little dog, who was not quite as
happy as the first one, decided to visit the house.

He slowly climbed the stairs and hung his head low as he looked
into the door.

When he saw the 1000 unfriendly looking dogs staring back at him,
he growled at them and was horrified to see 1000 little dogs
growling back at him. As he left, he thought to himself, "That is a
horrible place, and I will never go back there again."

All the faces in the world are mirrors. What kind of reflections do
you see in the faces of the people you meet?

Smile, Life is Good!

If life is getting you down and you are finding it difficult to find a good reason to smile then you need to watch this video. Why? Because life is good . . unless you choose to acknowledge that it isn't good and you therefore choose to be unhappy . . either way you choose. Don't kid yourself that you don't choose to be happy or unhappy. You can't take responsibility for feeling happy when things are going well in your life and then fail to take responsibility for the bad times in your life . . . . the whole can of worms is your responsibility! Get real!!

Get real? Yes, get real . . which means you need to reconnect with a greater reality, truth and integrity than your petty, sorry, unhappy little personality that 'chooses' to be happy one moment and unhappy the next . . and thinks it has the right to inflict its sorry little life on those around it! Basically it needs to wake up, grow up and mature beyond its ignorance . . . .

. . . why the hell would anyone want to keep the company of a negative individual who is controlled by their moaning and whining personality?

This is a 'self-knowledge' blog. The whole point of Self-knowledge is for you, dear reader, to become aware of all your false conditioning. And where does all your false conditioning hide? Within your personality. It hides there as a bundle of unhappy conditioned ignorance. Your task is to become aware of all that is false within you and then separate from it. Psychological and emotional pain, misery, suffering and unhappiness are all aspects of a defective personality. Sooner or later you are going to have to learn how to go through the process of separating out the false (defective personality) from the real and true (Character/Being) within yourself. It is what life is all about . . .

. . . what has that got to do with this video? Do us both a favor, watch it and let me know!!
