Hi Doug, noticing your mild appeal for comment may I draw your enlightened attention to Supreme Master Ching Hai? You know, I get very defensive when it comes to spiritual masters, I find it very difficult to empathize with critical and opposing views, despite their vast numbers; my weakness. That said, may I say that everything about this lady is bound to offend even the most sympathetic person, and thats what I love the most about her right now. I have her in mind as I've been fortunate enough to obtain access to a number of free satellite channels following the installation of three satellite dishes in our backyard, including "Supreme Master Television". I recall, it was Eckhart Tolle who wrote in his latest publication, "A New Earth" that television has unexplored spiritual potential. Without doubt, SUMA Ching Hai's activity in this area is unprecedented for a spiritual master. Her drive to communicate love, truth and justice through the global communications system rivals the clarity of Barry Long's Teaching, the boldly devotional Ruchira Adi Da Samraj, the revolutionary discourses of Shree Rajneesh, and the popularity of the North American hit: Eckhart Tolle. She comes to you, from me, highly recommended.
Hello again, Doug, may I remind you of Barry Long's "Political History Of The World" in "Only Fear Dies" where he revealed the truth about the journalist profession? "Noteworthy News" on Supreme Master TV begins and ends with a diplomatic and positive tribute to all Journalists who DON'T spread their crap all over the place. Love it, can't miss it, yours sincerely, Tim.
Thanks Tim for your comments. I will be taking a look at Master Ching Hai, thanks for that.
Yes, Barry Long did indeed cover that subject matter in 'Only Fear Dies' and in the original version 'Ridding Yourself of Unhappiness.' Still one of the best and most 'real' books ever written.
Please keep in touch, do you have a blogsite or website of your own Tim?
Ok, ok, you've twisted my arm, its http://www.timrobinson.info . The secret's out, the cat's out of the bag, disclosure, etc.! If your checking it out, I recomend The Forking Paths, a rendition of Jorge Luis Borges's, "Garden Of the Forking Paths". I was fortunate enough to be isolated in a Taiwanese backwater town some years ago with only an internet connection to the literary works of Borges to pass the time. As a matter of interest, Osho (formally known as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh) quoted Bourges during his "Revolution" discourse, "give that which is holy unto the dogs and cast thy pearls before swine, for the thing that mattreth is giving" (a paradoxical encounter with Christ's sermon on the mount).
